1964 250LM #6045. This Ferrari comes with a well documented history. This incredible machine looks and drives as magnificently as it ever did. Having been completely restored/reconstructed by Fossil Motorsports (CA) and Roelof’s ( Holland ) circa late 1980ís. The car was originally owned by Bill Harrah and was involved in a road fire circa 1971 in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA . This comprehensive undertaking included rebuilding the original engine using the original rear chassis cross member and factory identity stamp as well all the usable suspension uprights, steering box, radiator, A-arms and shift tower.

The body was re-fabricated by the original builders in Modena, Italy. All of the remains of the original body go with the car.

The car is correct in all details. To improve on its durablity for historic racing events, the original Colotti LM gearbox was internally strengthened with stronger dog rings and the hubs were fitted with larger wheel bearings. Presently street licensed, this car would make a beautiful and very strong vintage racer. Call for further details.
